Manaslu 07 05 Simnang Himal From Syala  [5 of 23]


This cirque of mountains from Syala, although slightly lower, rivals the Everest Kangshung east face and the Annapurna Sanctuary. The first mountain on the left is Simnang Himal (6251m), which was climbed for the first time on May 16, 2001 by Ukranians Mistislav Gorbenko, Vadim Leontiev, Sergei Pugachov, and Mykhaylo Zagirnyak.
